Master Classes in Ceramic Sculpture and Portraiture

Althea also teaches ceramic sculpture and portraits in her studio to groups of not more than six people.
Smaller numbers in the group make it possible to give individual tuition to beginners and more experienced people alike.
Lessons taught include coiling, slab building and simple mould making techniques.*

 

Althea sets aside some weekends in the Spring and Autumn where pupils will come from Friday lunchtime until Sunday evening, where pupils are provided with tea, coffee and a simple lunch.

Bed and Breakfast can also be arranged either within their own house or locally within the village.

  • June - 17th / 18th / 19th
  • July - 22nd / 23rd / 24th
  • September - 16th / 17th / 18th
  • September / October - 30th / 1st / 2nd

 

*Completed work is left to dry for two or three weeks and fired, ready for collection.
